To Bra Or Not To Bra: Bra Bound Anyway!

Can i burn my bra already.Heck to be honest a major share of us have experienced the pure, unadulterated pleasure of taking a bra off after a long, exhausting day, and maybe we’ve gone braless around the house to give our boobs a break (well deserved vacation lol). To think that i am late 'bloomer' who once was obsessed with getting bras quite a lot feels like dry joke. I have been raised around bra wearing women, going bare has never been an option. But do i understand the importance?

Perky, saggy, fallen and droopy.

Boobs come in all shapes and sizes though some seem to be more  equal than others. Today am just going focus on the disadvantaged saggy boobs better known as flip flops/ fallen heroes in my community. The coined terms clearly impose self loathe. They basically show put them across as disgusting, not sexy and somehow a turn off. The breasts are completely vertical — unfashionable and unsightly by all manner of beauty standards created by the privileged of course  The nipples are said to be in deep conversation with the toes. Phew, after writing this i literally looked at myself  as  I am putting  on  one of my thinnest T-shirt, and I am in full droop mode. I look at my chest, and my saggy boobs appear to me like a pair of sad puppy dog eyes, averting their gaze in shame for what they have done. Now should i beat myself because gravity happened.  I ain't no B cup. Its always the name calling that makes us view our bodies in certain ways.

There is no specific age when you can expect your breasts to begin to sag. A woman in her twenties can have droopy breasts, while a woman in her forties can still have perky breasts. Oh by the way, the medical term for saggy boobs is breast ptosis. There is also quite several factors leading to ptosis.

Gravity: Gravity is working against you every day. While it pulls your breasts down, it strains and stretches your breast's ligaments.

Size and Shape: Smaller breasts with a rounder bottom tend to hold their shape better than larger or narrow breasts. Larger breasts are also more likely to succumb to gravity before smaller breasts.2

Body mass index: Women with a higher body mass index (BMI) tend to have larger breasts than women with a lower a BMI.

Weight loss or gain: Gaining or losing a good deal of weight, especially quickly, can change the shape of your breasts and stretch or shrink the skin surrounding them.

Genetics: Heredity and the genes you get from your family play a part in the size and shape or your breasts, the strength of your Cooper's ligaments, and your body weight.

Wearing a bra remains a choice, just as shaving and wearing makeup are, and societal expectations of gender simply don't reflect everybody's preferences or identities. However, The one time you must wear a bra is during exercise. Exercising without appropriate breast support can cause micro damage and micro traumas to breast tissue and skin and, on the extreme end of the scale, could cause stretch marks ( most y'all despise them), which are scar tissue created by excessive strain.

why do we hate the bra so much?Studies show that  a whooping 75% wear the wrong size. This is attributed to ignorance, embarrassment or basic laziness.Boob sizes change from time to time and we always  take it for granted. There is a number of signs u r wearing the wrong size. Signs you are doing it wrong

1. YOUR BRA IS RIDING UP YOUR BACK

2. YOUR BOOBS ARE SPILLING OUT OF YOUR BRA

3. THE CUPS ON YOUR BRA WRINKLE OR GAPE

4. YOUR BRA STRAPS FALL DOWN OR DIG IN

5. YOUR UNDERWIRES DIG IN OR HURT
